Framework Agreement
This is a national agreement between CfH and each GPSoC Framework supplier. It contains the bulk of the terms and conditions under GPSoC. The Framework Agreement governs all national requirements for the GPSoC services and includes a Call Off Agreement that enables PCTs to contract with the GPSoC Framework suppliers. It specifies:
- the responsibilities placed on NHS CfH, PCTs, practices and the supplier for the delivery and use of GPSoC services
- the specifications and standards for the GP clinical IT systems
- the list of services offered by each supplier under the GPSoC Framework
- the compliance status of each system
- any contractual changes including changes to the NHS’s requirements
- the level of the charges.
Suppliers have to provide:
- GPSoC Levels 1 to 3 Service;
- System Support Service; and
- Core Training Service (based on a training needs analysis for a representative group of Practices)
- Mandatory Additional Services
- Summary Care Record Service
- Deployment Services
- Replacement of an existing GP system provided by another supplier
- Replacement of an existing GP system with an alternative system provided by the same Supplier;
- Practice Merger or De-Merger
- Data Migration Services
- Services to Support PCT and Practice Business Continuity Plans, e.g. backup verification
- Training Services for the mandatory additional services provided
- Non-Mandatory Additional Services
- Hosted GPSoC Services (both CfH standards-compliant and non-compliant)
- GPSoC Level 4 Service, i.e. Level 3 plus approved hosting services
- Data Migration Services
- Miscellaneous services, e.g. hardware provision, support for PDAs, patient web access, etc.
- Future services, e.g. GPSoC Level 5 services
